Supporting Elementary Teachers in Recognizing and Understanding Minors with Special Educational Needs

About project

Welcome to SPECTRUM, where our goal is to support elementary school teachers in recognizing and understanding minors with special educational needs. We achieve this by creating useful resources and practical tools that enable teachers to swiftly grasp different disabilities´ characteristics, provide them with tips and techniques on how to address them in the classes and prepare activities suitable for students with various impairments.

Our primary focus is to address the acute shortage of teachers trained in special pedagogy and to aid those who support students with disabilities without adequate systemic assistance. The key priorities include promoting inclusivity and diversity in education, supporting teachers and school leaders, and enhancing the quality of education and care. As part of our project outcomes, we offer resources that help teachers navigate the unique challenges faced by students with disabilities.

The SPECTRUM project offers robust support for school teachers in understanding and effectively addressing students with special educational needs (SEN).
